Nutritional Guide

Nutritional Approach

At BiteLAB, we aim to nourish students with delicious, ready-to-eat lunches that fuel their learning and help them to understand and appreciate new and healthy foods.

Our menus are MOE approved and have been developed in line with the Ministry of Education Nutritional Guidelines.

Our menus are curated by our team of Production Chefs and Dietitians, and made with fresh ingredients.

Allergies, Special Diets & our Food Guide

Some minor menu changes may occur due to a school opting out of some lunch components due to other healthy eating programmes currently operating in school.

Full menu breakdowns including ingredients and nutritional information can be provided on request.

Allergen Declaration

Meals will be prepared to cater for students with specific dietary requirements (ethical, religious, medical, allergies, intolerances), and identified with special labels on each lunch pack. These meals can be requested via your school. Please note this does not include food preferences and non-medical dislikes to certain foods.

Please make your school aware if you experience anaphylaxis or have low tolerance to allergens.

We are committed to providing food that meets high safety and suitability standards and we understand the importance of allergen management and awareness.

As a standard, all meals this term are made without nut, fish, or shellfish-containing ingredients. It is important to note that our kitchen handles a diverse range of ingredients, including Gluten, Wheat, Milk/Dairy, Egg, Soy, Fish, Shellfish*, Tree Nuts*, Peanuts, Sesame, Sulphites, and Lupin. Products from our suppliers may also be manufactured in facilities where allergen-containing ingredients are present.

We have a comprehensive allergen management plan in place and while we take every precaution to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee our dishes are 100% free from trace amounts of allergens.

*Shellfish includes all mollusc and crustacean. Tree Nuts include, but is not limited to, common Tree Nuts like almond, Brazil nut, cashew, hazelnut, macadamia, pecan, pistachio, walnut, and pine nut.
